写了不少中国“玉米虫”文贴了，但是外国“玉米虫”啥模样？这个相信也是很多中国人感兴趣的事。
说实在，俺也是只听别人说说而己，自己从来没有直接与他们接触过：曾经为千龙网购买一个在外国人手中的gTLD域名也是委托“中国频道（www.china-channel.com ）”去讨价还价，最后也没有成交。

2006年10月9日打开邮箱收到了一封英文信函，近在日太多海外英文垃圾邮件打扰心情之下，差点就把它删了：

Hi Shenyang,
I am writing to inform you pppos.NET is expiring and may be released to the public within the next few days.
There is a good chance that there will be several interested parties attempting to capture this domain when it is released, these will vary from parties with a genuine interest to domain name speculators otherwise known as cyber squatters who often put large price tags on such domains.
We are domain acquisition specialists and I felt that as the owner of pppos.org you would have a much more genuine interest in acquiring pppos.NET.
If you would like us to try and acquire this domain on your behalf then please let me know by 11th October 2006.
This is a genuine service and we do not charge any money upfront. If you receive emails from any other companies claiming to own the domain before 12th October 2006, please do not send them any money.
